Tom Rogers

HardinCountyWeather.com was founded in June 2008 to provide a public service to Savannah and Hardin County with local weather observations along with other publicly available weather information. HardinCountyWeather.com is dedicated to the memory of its founder, Tom Rogers, who passed away on October 5, 2009. This website is now maintained by ParsonsWeather.com. The current conditions data on the Home Page and all data on the Detailed Data and Detailed Reports pages comes from our weather observations in Savannah. The maps, advisories and forecast data are provided by the Weather Underground and the National Weather Service. The earthquake data is provided by the U.S. Geological Survey.

Data Quality Check

We strive to provide accurate weather information and CWOP (Citizen Weather Observer Program) helps us do this. CWOP is a private-public partnership with three main goals: • Collect weather data contributed by citizens. • Make data available for weather services and homeland security. • Provide feedback to the data contributors so that they have the tools to check and improve their data quality.
